As part of the "CPLP Engineering Laboratories Capacity Building Programme to support good governance and sustainable construction", LNEC's technician José Louro travelled to Cape Verde, from 15 to 19 January 2024, to provide training in the area of steel testing for reinforced concrete at the Civil Engineering Laboratory in Cape Verde.

This mission is a continuation of the cooperation between LNEC and the Civil Engineering Laboratories of the CPLP. The overall objective is to contribute to promoting the quality and safety of civil engineering works, as well as to protecting and rehabilitating the natural and built heritage and increasing resilience to environmental impacts and climate change in the PALOP countries.
