On 8 March, as part of the Women's Day celebrations, the Pavilion of Knowledge launched the 5th edition (2025) of the book Women in Science, made up of 107 ‘portraits’ of Portuguese researchers, from different generations and areas of knowledge, selected from scientific institutions across the country.

LNEC researcher Maria do Rosário Veiga was one of the women selected to appear in the book, with a short text representing her area of work and a photograph taken by photographer Mário Cruz on the LNEC campus.
