LNEC will host the course "Quality and Measurement Management in Wastewater and Stormwater Systems I (QSARP I)" from July 15 to 17, 2026, at the LNEC Congress Centre.
Effective measurement management in wastewater and stormwater systems is essential for improving performance and reducing risk within these systems and their associated services. To this end, LNEC promotes several initiatives to support managing entities and service providers, aiming to empower their technical staff to develop internal activities and outsource services, enabling the implementation of the best technical and measurement management procedures.
Within the scope of the National Initiative for Inflow and Infiltration Control (iAFLUI), this course aligns with the initiative's goals and addresses topics such as monitoring system planning, metrological control, and the interpretation of collected data. This is an introductory training course, covering content on criteria for selecting sites and equipment, calibration, traceability, data processing, and auditing.
The training is aimed at managers and technicians of wastewater and stormwater systems, consultants, designers, monitoring service providers, and anyone else interested in the subject.
This training course aims to provide knowledge regarding measurement in wastewater and stormwater systems, particularly concerning the activities and decisions that can be implemented prior to data analysis and that contribute most to its quality. Technical and measurement management requirements are addressed, aligned with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.
