2nd International Conference on CO2, Mineralization in Construction, Materials and Products
The 2nd International Conference on CO2 Mineralization in Construction Materials and Products (CMCMP2026), organized by the Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC), the Hunan University (HNU) and the Asian Concrete Federation (ACF), is part of a series of conferences initiated in 2024, with the overall objective of revamping the future of construction materials and products by utilising carbon dioxide.
The idea of fixing CO2 into stable carbonates is more than a research topic — it’s a step toward transforming one of our biggest challenges into an opportunity for innovation. By turning emissions into valuable resources, we are redefining what sustainable construction can be. This conference encompasses topics like CO2 mineralization technologies, CO2 mineralization by Portland cement-based materials and products, durability of CO2 mineralized materials and products, along with others.
Together, members from academia, industry, and public authorities will share knowledge, exchange ideas, and inspire new collaborations that push the boundaries of carbon storage and utilisation.
