1st International Conference on Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering (ICSGE 2027)
The 1st International Conference on Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering (ICSGE 2027), under the theme Geodiversity & Resilience, will take place from 28 June to 1 July 2027, at the Campus of the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC), in Lisbon, Portugal.
Organised by LNEC, under the auspices of the Portuguese Environmental Geotechnics Commission of the Portuguese Geotechnical Society (CPGA/SPG) and the Technical Committee 307 – Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering (TC 307) of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), the conference will bring together renowned experts from around the world, fostering discussion on the application of sustainable practices, risk and impact mitigation, and the promotion of geodiversity and resilience in geotechnical engineering and related fields.
ICSGE 2027 will also provide a unique platform for high-level international visibility for sponsors and exhibitors, reinforcing their commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The scientific and technical communities are warmly invited to actively participate in ICSGE 2027 through the submission of papers, institutional support, sponsorship, and technical exhibition.
Abstract submission is now open until 15 June 2026.
