        • Buildings thermal quality
        • Energy efficiency in buildings
        • Thermal rehabilitation of buildings
        • Environmental sustainability
        • Thermal comfort in buildings’ indoor environments
        • Pathologies in buildings
        • Infrared thermography in buildings

        DEVELOPED ACTIVITY

The main scientific research activities of the Researcher Assistant have been developed in the following areas: Building's Thermal Quality, with the assessment and characterization of thermal insulation materials and solutions, and studies of pathologies associated to inadequate performance of this type of materials; Energy Efficiency and Thermal Comfort in buildings, with the carrying out of several research studies aimed at achieving greater environmental sustainability in Portuguese buildings (PhD), a decrease of energy consumption (and consequent CO2 emissions) and an easier adaptation to climate change.
