RESEARCH ACTIVITY
Participation in national and international projects, exploring different dimensions of governance of the quality of the built environment. Main projects:
2022-2024: Soft-power in the governance of urban design: the role and impact of informal tools for improving spatial quality in cities across Europe.
2019-2021: URBAN DESIGN GOVERNANCE: Exploring formal and informal means of improving spatial quality in cities across Europe and beyond (URBAN MAESTRO).
2009-2017: Architecture as public policy. The role and effectiveness of national architectural policies in the European Union: The cases of Ireland, Scotland and The Netherlands.
Other activities:
Scientific dissemination activities through reports, publications in scientific journals, and participation in scientific meetings.
Collaborates in technical committees and working groups responsible for developing public policy proposals and urban planning and construction regulations.
Participation in academic examination boards, integrates scientific and organizing committees for meetings, and participates in the review of manuscripts submitted to scientific journals.
