MAIN AREAS OF RESEARCH/INTEREST

BIM methodologies applied to geotechnics, with a focus on embankment dams.

Development of ontologies and data models for construction products and BIM object modelling, namely for monitoring devices and materials used in embankment dams.

Design of geotechnical engineering projects, including slope stabilisation, retaining structures, tunnels, ground improvement and treatment, monitoring systems and inspections, and especially in the field of embankment dams.

RESEARCH AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Development of studies on embankment dams using BIM methodologies and digital twins.

Participation in, technical support for, and coordination of geotechnical engineering projects, including slope stabilisation, retaining structures, tunnels, monitoring and inspections, and ground treatment and improvement, with more experience of embankment dams.

Participation in a research project on high-performance concrete with recycled aggregates for the precast industry.
