Areas of Research / Interest

Applied research in urban water management, urban hydrology and hydraulics; urban drainage modelling and monitoring, performance assessment of urban water services; sewer systems rehabilitation, asset management of urban water infrastructures, planning and assessment of water cycle-related urban resilience, planning and assessment of urban water smart management.

Research and Professional Activity

Collaborated in more than 70 national and international research, development and innovation projects, including advanced consultancy, development of other scientific and technical activities such as lecturing and knowledge transfer, evaluation of international projects’ funding, representation in technical and professional organizations, member of scientific boards in national and international events, and of masters and doctoral examination boards, scientific refereeing, and editorial activity, author or co-author of over 300 publications.
