        RESEARCH AREAS/INTERESTS

        • Coastal morphodynamics
        • Estuarine and littoral hydrodynamics
        • Numerical modelling

        ACTIVITY

My work is centred on developing and implementing methodologies to quantify and predict the changes in sandy coastlines, with a particular focus on tidal inlets and barrier island systems. Utilizing numerical modelling of sediment transport processes, geomorphological observations, and metocean data, I aim to explore the intricate relationships between climate dynamics and coastal morphodynamics. My research spans various timescales, from individual storm events to multi-decadal trends, with the primary objective of evaluating and understanding the coastal risks related to erosion and marine submersion.
