Professional career developed at LNEC since 1994, having held positions as Research Fellow, Research Trainee, Research Assistant, Assistant Research, and currently Senior Research.
MAIN AREAS OF RESEARCH/INTEREST
Characterisation, performance assessment and durability of organic construction materials, namely plastics, fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites and coatings for concrete, including the study of pathologies and of prevention and mitigation solutions for structures.
DEVELOPED ACTIVITY
Research, development and innovation activities in the fields of expertise, including participation in and coordination of national and international scientific projects, supervision of academic theses, production of scientific and technical publications, presentation of papers at scientific meetings, editorial activity, preparation of technical studies and expert reports, participation in technical committees, and collaboration in the organisation of scientific and technical dissemination initiatives.
