        2013: Master degree in Civil Engineering – Specialization in Structures and Construction. Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies, Lisbon.

        2008: Licentiate degree in Civil Engineering. Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies, Lisbon.


         

        FUNCTIONS AND RELEVANT PUBLIC OFFICES

        Since 2020: Senior Technician at the Structures Behaviour Division, Structures Department, LNEC.

        From 2013 to 2020: Technical Fellow at the Structures Behaviour Division, Structures Department, LNEC.


         

        MAIN AREAS OF RESEARCH/INTEREST 

        Characterization of mechanical and bond properties of steel products for reinforced and prestressed concrete.

        Mechanical tests of steel products for reinforced and prestressed concrete.

        Normalization in the scope of steel products for reinforced and prestressed concrete.

        Assessment and safety checking of structures and structural elements.


        ACTIVITY 

        Management of the classification and certification processes of steel products for reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete.

        Participation in audits of the factories of the producers of steel products for reinforced and prestressed concrete.

        Member of the Technical Committee for Portuguese Standardization CT 12 "Cast Iron and Steel".

        Collaboration on the development and dissemination of research and innovation studies, in the scope of the characterization of the mechanical and bond properties of steel products for reinforced and prestressed concrete.

        Support of research internships, mainly about the statistical study of test results of steel products for reinforced and prestressed concrete.

        Collaboration in expertise works in the scope of the safety checking of structures.

        Support to the execution of tests of structural components and metallic products.
