        RESEARCH ACTIVITY

        The objective of his research is to assess experimentally the out-of-plane response of unreinforced masonry structures, considering geometry, input signals, and boundary conditions variability. During his Ph.D. Programme, Dario has realised several shake-table tests on half-scale (Uminho) and full-scale (LNEC) unreinforced masonry specimens (dry-stacked), subjected to out-of-plane loading. Dario has gathered all the conducted tests and created a database for the validation of numerical models and extensive probabilistic fragility analyses.
