RESEARCH AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Afonso Henrique is a Research Fellow at the LNEC Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics Unit (NESDE) and a Master's student in Mechanical Engineering (Systems Engineering specialization) at Instituto Superior Técnico. His research focuses on the application of advanced control and system identification techniques to experimental earthquake engineering, with particular emphasis on seismic shaking table testing.
