Registration is now open for the 1st GPBE Symposium – 60th Anniversary, the main objective of which is to promote awareness of the second generation of Eurocode 2 and the provisions of its National Annex, thereby contributing to a better understanding of its key new features and preparing the technical, academic and professional communities for its implementation. A reference work will also be presented.

Marking the 60th anniversary of the Portuguese Structural Concrete Group (GPBE), the Symposium will also serve as a prime forum for experts, researchers and professionals in the sector to meet and exchange ideas, providing an opportunity to discuss the implications of this new generation of standards for the design of concrete structures. The programme also includes the recognition of merit in the training of young engineers, in research and in professional careers, through the awarding of the Young Masters Award, the Excellence in Research Award and the GPBE Medal of Merit, respectively.

The registration fee for GPBE members is €120.00 (VAT-exempt). Corporate members may register up to three participants at the individual rate.
