Researchers from LNEC Maria Adriana Cardoso and Rita Brito lectured on holistic resilience assessment and planning at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC). The lectures were part of the International Master on Urban Resilience for Sustainability Transitions.

The sessions focused on interdependencies between built and natural environments and the role of critical infrastructure. Students also engaged in practical activities using the RAF-App, an innovative resilience assessment tool, freely available online, developed under the European projects RESCCUE and ICARIA.

As sessões focaram as interdependências entre os ambientes construído e natural, e enfatizaram o papel das infraestruturas críticas no planeamento de resiliência. Os estudantes também participaram em atividades práticas utilizando a RAF-App, uma ferramenta inovadora de avaliação de resiliência, com acesso online, desenvolvida no âmbito dos projetos europeus RESCCUE e ICARIA.
