The 12th International Conference on Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites in Civil Engineering (CICE 2025, https://cice2025.org) will be held at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), from 14 to 16 July 2025. It is a national joint initiative organized by IST - University of Lisbon, the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC), and the University of Minho.

CICE is the main official conference of the International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC, https://www.iifc.org). This will be the twelfth edition of a series of prestigious conferences on composites for Civil Engineering applications that was initiated in 2001 and has been already taken place on most continents.

CICE 2025 will cover all aspects of research, development and application of FRP composites in civil engineering, with particular emphasis on some of the most relevant and emerging challenges. 

The Technical Program includes (i) six keynote sessions, including from the recipients of the IIFC Medal and IIFC Young Researcher Award, (ii) Regular technical sessions and (iii) thirteen special sessions. In addition, the program includes presentations from the five shortlisted candidates of the IIFC Best Thesis Award, the Student Benchmark Competition Session and Technical Visits to the laboratories of IST and LNEC.
