The transition towards a more sustainable built environment requires innovative solutions capable of reducing and valorising carbon emissions.

In this context, LNEC will host the 2nd International Conference on CO₂ Mineralization in Construction Materials and Products (#CMCMP2026), which will take place on 15–17 July 2026 at the LNEC Congress Centre, Lisbon, Portugal.

The conference will bring together researchers and industry representatives from around the world to present and discuss the latest advances in the mineralisation of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in construction materials and products, a technology with significant potential to contribute to the decarbonisation of the construction sector and to the promotion of a circular economy.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge research, attend presentations by leading international experts, and discuss innovative solutions for achieving a carbon-neutral built environment.
