LNEC will host The Fifth International Dam World Conference (DW2025), a reference event in the field of dam engineering, from April 13 to 17, 2025.

The Dam World Conference 2025 features four parallel events (three courses and one workshop) focused on specialized training for dam engineering professionals and which will bring updated technical knowledge in essential areas such as BIM modeling, expansive reactions in concrete or flood risk management.

The first course, "BIM Fundamentals Applied to Dam Engineering", will address the fundamental concepts of BIM methodology. The second one, "Dams Affected by Concrete Swelling Reactions," will provide an in-depth look at concrete's expansive reactions, and the third course, "Dam-break Flood Risk Modeling and Emergency Planning", will highlight the importance of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for high-hazard dams.

Finally, the workshop "CDA Tailings Dam Breach Analysis" will address dam breach analysis.
