The 5th Webinar organised by PIANC YP-Com aims to continue bringing together and connecting Portuguese professionals working in Portugal and around the world. This edition will focus on the theme “Coastal Resilience: from Innovation to Monitoring and Forecasting Systems”, which stems from the combination of the most voted topics at the previous meeting.

Recalling the purpose of these meetings, the webinar also aim to showcase the work of Portuguese professionals practising their trade around the world, promoting the sharing of experiences and perspectives on the current challenges of coastal and maritime-port engineering in different international contexts. In this edition, a presentation will be given in collaboration with YP-Com Brasil, reinforcing the connection and closeness between professional communities in different countries.

The webinar will take place this Friday, 29 May, at 5.00 pm, exclusively online. Registration is free but needed HERE.

The event is supported by LNEC and, as with the four previous editions, forms part of the celebrations for Navy Day 2026.
