The 13th National Congress on Experimental Mechanics (CNME 2026) will take place from February 25 to 27, 2026, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). Organized by the Portuguese Association for Experimental Stress Analysis (APAET), the event has the institutional support of LNEC, emphasizing the relevance of national research in experimental stress analysis in civil engineering.

CNME 2026 will address a wide and technical range of topics, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of experimental mechanics. Among the main topics to be discussed are:

- Structural Analysis and Structural Monitoring;

- Structural Integrity Analysis;

- Dynamic Analysis and Vibrations, and Case and Failure Analysis;

- Biomechanics and Biomaterials;

- Experimentation in Seismology;

- Bridge and Dam Testing;

- Optical Methods of Experimental Analysis;

- Structural Rehabilitation.
