The publication “Survey on the Technical Capacity of Portuguese Municipalities in the Fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Landscape – Presentation, Analysis, and Discussion of the Final Results” is now available.

Prepared by LNEC, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Territory (DGT), the survey was sent to all 308 Portuguese municipalities, yielding 180 valid responses (58%) and ensuring representation from all regions of the country.

The study, conducted under the National Architecture and Landscape Policy (PNAP), deepens understanding of municipal technical capacity in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and landscape in Portugal. The results help identify trends and opportunities for improvement, providing a basis for defining future actions to support municipalities.
