Elisabete Arsenio, principal investigator at LNEC, has been awarded the prestigious TRA VISIONS 2026 Prize by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. This distinction recognizes researchers who lead or participate in projects of excellence funded by competitive EU programs and who have demonstrated results with a high impact on society and the scientific community.

The award highlights the researcher's contribution to the advancement of multimodal transport, as well as to the development of smart and sustainable mobility solutions, reinforcing the role of Portuguese research in the European landscape of transport innovation.
