LNEC’s researcher Simona Fontul was a guest speaker at the first edition of the Aeronautical Infrastructure Symposium - themed “Aeronautical Infrastructure Lifecycle Management: Design, Technology, and Sustainability”, where she presented on “Airport Pavement Load-Bearing Capacity Assessment: ACN/PCN and ACR/PCR Classification.”  

Mindful of the strategic challenges facing Portugal and Europe in the fields of infrastructure and energy, the Portuguese Air Force organized this initiative to share its vision for the construction and management of aeronautical infrastructure and to contribute to national development in these areas.

A Investigadora do LNEC, Simona Fontul, foi palestrante convidada na 1.ª edição das Jornadas das Infraestruturas Aeronáuticas, subordinadas ao tema “Gestão do Ciclo de Vida das Infraestruturas Aeronáuticas: Dimensionamento, Tecnologia e Sustentabilidade”, com o tema “Avaliação da capacidade de carga de pavimentos aeroportuários. Classificação ACN/PCN e ACR/PCR”.  

Atenta aos desafios estratégicos que Portugal e a Europa enfrentam no domínio das infraestruturas e da energia, a Força Aérea Portuguesa promoveu esta iniciativa, com o objetivo de divulgar a sua visão para a edificação e gestão de infraestruturas aeronáuticas, bem como contribuir para o desenvolvimento nacional nestas áreas.
