LNEC participated in European Researchers' Night 2025 (NEI2025), held on 26 September at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Ciência Viva, with an activity dedicated to water treatment, as part of the theme ‘Oceans and Water’.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about and test different water treatment processes using educational kits designed by the Sanitary Engineering Unit (NES) of the Hydraulics and Environment Department (DHA), as part of the European partnership Water4All – Security for the Planet.

With this participation, LNEC reaffirmed its commitment to scientific dissemination and raising awareness of the importance of water as a vital resource, contributing to the strengthening of scientific and environmental literacy in society.

O LNEC participou na Noite Europeia dos Investigadores 2025 (NEI2025), realizada a 26 de setembro no Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Ciência Viva, com uma atividade dedicada ao tratamento de água, integrada no tema “Oceanos e Água”.

Os participantes tiveram a oportunidade de conhecer e testar diferentes processos de tratamento de água utilizando os Kits educativos concebidos pelo Núcleo de Engenharia Sanitária (NES) do Departamento de Hidráulica e Ambiente (DHA), no âmbito da parceria europeia Water4All – Security for the Planet.

Com esta participação, o LNEC reafirmou o seu compromisso com a divulgação científica e com a sensibilização para a importância da água enquanto recurso vital, contribuindo para o reforço da literacia científica e ambiental junto da sociedade.
