The "11th Short Course / Conference on Applied Coastal Research" - SCACR 2025 took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia and was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Zagreb, in partnership with the University of Dubrovnik. 

At this conference, a lecture was given by LNEC researcher Conceição Fortes, entitled "Numerical Modeling of Water Waves in Harbors and Coastal Areas." 

Several presentations were also presented by researchers of the Hydraulics and Environment Department, entitled: 

- "Machine Learning in Operational Forecast Systems for Ports" 

- "Damage Evolution Formulation: A New Approach" 

- "Numerical Simulation of Ship Accessibility and Safety in Exposed Ports" 

- "Application of the OSOM+ Systematic Observation Methodology to Maritime Structures at the Port of Sines"

Realizou-se o “11th Short Course/Conference on Applied Coastal Research” - SCACR 2025 em Dubrovnik, na Croácia, organizado pelo Depatamento de Engenharia Civil da Universidade de Zagrebe, em parceria com a Universidade de Dubrovnik. 

Nesta conferência, foi realizada uma palestra pela investigadora do LNEC, Engª Conceição Fortes, intitulada “Numerical Modeling of Water Waves in Harbours and Coastal Areas".
