LNEC took part in the second edition of the event “Digitalisation in Construction, Railways and Mineral Resources”, held at Instituto Superior Técnico’s Oeiras campus, as part of the DIGITALbuilt project, an initiative promoted by the Portuguese Construction Technology Platform (PTPC).

The event brought together experts and organisations from the construction, railway and mineral resources sectors to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with digitalisation, highlighting the impact of new technological tools on competitiveness, sustainability and operational efficiency.

LNEC was represented by researcher Maria João Falcão Silva, also a member of the PTPC Executive Committee, who participated in the sessions dedicated to the digital transformation of organisations and SMEs, sharing perspectives and practical solutions for the sector. The initiative also featured the participation of Cláudia Antunes, from StratBIM®.

The event also included the presentation of DIGITALbuilt services, in a context focused on knowledge sharing, innovation and strengthening collaboration between different sector stakeholders.
