The CAE-PAE Forum on Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering was held at the Order of Engineers, as a joint initiative of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and the Portuguese Academy of Engineering (PAE).

LNEC was represented by Eng. Liliana Pinheiro, Eng. Conceição Fortes, and Dr. Jimmy Valencia. Eng. Liliana Pinheiro presented the paper “Wave Modelling and Operational Safety of Ports.”

The Forum promoted knowledge sharing and strengthened scientific and technological cooperation between Portugal and China in the fields of Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering.

Realizou-se na Ordem dos Engenheiros o CAE-PAE Forum on Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering, uma iniciativa conjunta da Academia de Engenharia Chinesa (CAE) e da Academia Portuguesa de Engenharia (PAE).

O LNEC esteve representado pelas Eng.as Liliana Pinheiro e Conceição Fortes e pelo Dr. Jimmy Valencia, tendo a Eng.ª Liliana Pinheiro apresentado a comunicação “Wave Modelling and Operational Safety of Ports”.

O Fórum promoveu a partilha de conhecimento e o reforço da cooperação científica e tecnológica entre Portugal e a China nas áreas da Tecnologia Marítima e da Engenharia Oceânica.
