LNEC Researcher João Marcelino was invited by the Cape Verdean Order of Engineers to participate in the Technical Engineering Conference on the theme of “Water and Sustainable Development.” The meeting focused on issues related to water resources, renewable energy, energy transition, and digital transition.

As part of this event, LNEC presented a paper entitled “Waterproofing treatment of dam reservoirs – Example of the Banca Furada dam, island of S. Nicolau.”

The conference took place in the city of Assomada, on the island of Santiago, at the University of Santiago, and included a meeting with the University Rector.
