LNEC hosted a visit by 19 engineers from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, accompanied by a representative from the Chinese Embassy in Portugal. This visit was organized in collaboration with Instituto Superior Técnico.

The visitors were welcomed in the LNEC Auditorium by the Director of the Department of Hydraulics and Environment. After watching a short video presenting LNEC’s institutional profile and activities, the group proceeded to the Department of Hydraulics and Environment. The members of the Chinese Academy concluded their visit at the Ports and Maritime Structures Unit, where they learned about some of the main areas of activity at the experimental marine hydraulics unit.
