A delegation from the Infrastructure Committee of the National Parliament of East Timor visited LNEC on 30 July 2025.

LNEC's President, Laura Caldeira, welcomed the delegation and presented LNEC's activities and competences, highlighting the Laboratory's availability for future cooperation actions between LNEC and the Democratic Republic of East Timor.

The visitors also had the opportunity to visit and watch tests being carried out at the experimental facilities of the Ports and Maritime Structures Unit of the Hydraulics and Environment Department.

Uma delegação da Comissão de Infraestruturas do Parlamento Nacional de Timor-Leste realizou uma visita ao LNEC no dia 30 de julho de 2025.

A Presidente do LNEC, Engª Laura Caldeira, recebeu a delegação e fez a apresentação da atividade e das competências do LNEC e evidenciou a disponibilidade do Laboratório para futuras ações de cooperação entre o LNEC e a República Democrática de Timor-Leste.

Os visitantes tiveram, também, oportunidade de conhecer e assistir à realização de ensaios nas instalações experimentais do Núcleo de Portos e Estruturas Marítimas do Departamento de Hidráulica e Ambiente.
