The Mozambique Engineering Laboratory recently received specialised training in road engineering, within the framework of cooperation between LNEC and the Civil Engineering Laboratories of the CPLP. The course focused on the design, inspection, and structural analysis of pavements, bringing together technicians from different institutions and companies.

"The trainees were actively involved, both during the theoretical and practical classes and in the field tests, which allowed for dynamic learning adapted to the reality of Mozambique's roads", said Simona Fontul, assistant researcher at LNEC and course trainer.

The initiative strengthens international cooperation and knowledge sharing between Portuguese-speaking countries, contributing to the development of technical solutions that support good governance and sustainable construction in Mozambique.

O Laboratório de Engenharia de Moçambique recebeu recentemente uma formação especializada em engenharia rodoviária, no âmbito cooperação entre o LNEC e os Laboratórios de Engenharia Civil da CPLP. O curso focou-se no dimensionamento, inspeção e análise estrutural de pavimentos, juntando técnicos de diferentes instituições e empresas.

“Os formandos tiveram um envolvimento ativo, tanto durante as aulas teórico-práticas como nos ensaios de campo, o que permitiu uma aprendizagem dinâmica e adaptada à realidade das estradas de Moçambique”, destacou a Eng.ª Simona Fontul, investigadora auxiliar do LNEC e formadora do curso.

A iniciativa reforça a cooperação internacional e a partilha de conhecimento entre países de língua portuguesa, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de soluções técnicas que apoiam a boa governação e a construção sustentável em Moçambique.
