New edition of Course EN 13508-2 - Assessment of the condition of collectors based on visual inspection (CCTV-2026) takes place from February 4 to 6 at LNEC.
Urban water systems are essential infrastructure in modern societies with great heritage value, and it is necessary to ensure the sustainability of these systems, both economically and financially, as well as operationally and structurally.
Visual inspection of collectors is useful for the proper management of urban water system infrastructure, and this course aims to disseminate the application of visual inspection of wastewater and stormwater collectors and promote the application of standard EN 13508-2:2003 - Investigation and assessment of public collector systems. Part 2: Coding system for visual inspection, which is applicable to the investigation and assessment of public sewer systems, as a support for assessing their condition.
This technical training course aims to provide and consolidate knowledge on the visual inspection of sewer systems and on the application of the coding system recommended by EN 13508-2 - Investigation and evaluation of public sewer systems. It is intended for managers and technicians of wastewater and stormwater systems, consultants, designers, inspection service providers, master's and doctoral students, and others interested in the subject.
