LNEC is organising the seminar "Digital Transformation in Cultural Heritage – Initiatives and Projects Under Development" on 29 September, starting at 2.00 pm.

The event will showcase projects and approaches currently being developed at LNEC, notably the ID4CH project – Digital Infrastructure for the Conservation and Dissemination of Heritage – as well as the European ARTEMIS project, dedicated to the development of Digital Twins for the preservation of cultural heritage.

The seminar will also feature the participation of Património Cultural, I.P., an institutional partner of the ID4CH project, and aims to promote the sharing of experiences and strengthen collaboration between researchers, professionals and institutions.

Topics to be covered include:

- Digitisation and 3D documentation;

- Digital twins applied to heritage;

- Sensors and structural and environmental monitoring;

- Artificial Intelligence and data analysis;

- Digital archives and information management;

- Materials science and conservation.
