TimberWorQs returns on 11 and 12 February to the LNEC Congress Centre.

TimberWorQs is the annual seminar that brings together professionals from the timber construction sector to discuss topics related to architecture, engineering and sustainability. This event is jointly organised by SerQ – Forest Innovation and Competences Centre, the National Civil Engineering Laboratory and the University of Coimbra, which together seek to bring to the capital, with the 3rd edition of TimberWorQs, a discussion on what is being done and can be designed with the material of the 21st century: timber!

The TimberWorQs 2026 programme is divided into panels and round tables, seeking to encourage public participation in each session so that, together, more knowledge, more value and more innovation can be created in a rapidly expanding sector. 

The proceedings begin with a business marketing session, running in parallel with the workshop ‘Building with timber: LEARN AND DO’, organised in partnership with Rothoblaas (free admission, but limited to 25 participants). On the afternoon of the 11th and on the 12th, the official TimberWorQs 2026 programme will take place, with technical presentations by national and international speakers from architecture, design, construction and consulting firms, public bodies and others.
