LNEC received the visit from the first-year Civil Engineering students of the Nova School of Science and Technology (Nova FCT).

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to get to know two of the eight departments of LNEC's organisational structure, namely the Hydraulics and Environment Department and the Structures Department.

In the Hydraulics and Environment Department, they visited the Ports and Maritime Structures and the Water Resources and Hydraulic Structures Departments.

At the Structures Department, the students were able to see the models tested in the wind tunnel and on the Triaxial Seismic Platform.

LNEC thanks the students for their visit and wishes them an excellent academic career.

O LNEC recebeu a visita dos alunos do primeiro ano do curso de Engenharia Civil da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias da Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

No decorrer da visita, os alunos tiveram oportunidade de conhecer dois dos oito departamentos que compõe a estrutura orgânica do LNEC, nomeadamente, o Departamento de Hidráulica e Ambiente e o Departamento de Estruturas.

No Departamento de Hidráulica e Ambiente foram visitados os  Núcleos de Portos e Estruturas Marítimas e de Recursos Hídricos e Estruturas Hidráulicas.

No departamento de Estruturas, os alunos puderam ter contacto com os modelos ensaiados no túnel de vento e na Plataforma Sísmica Triaxial.
