AquiRiver is a set of key experimental infrastructure that supports both fundamental and applied research, either as R&D&I projects or as a platform for PhD and Master's theses. AquiRiver focuses on a wide range of topics, including river dynamics and rehabilitation, hydraulic structures and nature-based solutions, flow modelling and contaminant transport in aquifers, embankment failure as well as water quality in rivers and reservoirs. In a broader sense, it addresses flood and drought risk management, hydro-climatic adaptation, and the sustainable management of water resources.

Dams and Dikes Failure Experimental Facility.
The facilities are open to the scientific community, under joint projects or under consultation for external research. An experienced and multidisciplinary team supports the research activities in a continuous and close dialogue with partners and users.
