Calculation tools for applying building energy efficiency regulations - SCE
Decree-Law 101-D/2020 was published on 7 December 2020, establishing the requirements applicable to buildings for improving their energy performance and regulating the Energy Certification System for Buildings, transposing Directive (EU) 2018/844 and partially transposing Directive (EU) 2019/944.
For the purposes of assessing the energy performance of buildings, a calculation methodology is set out in the SCE Manual, which is approved by order of the director-general of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
For the assessment of Building Energy Performance (DEE) and the verification of compliance with requirements relating to fresh air flow rates, the availability of two calculation tools is provided in Chapter 9 of the SCE Manual:
1 – Simplified method – a tool to estimate ventilation flow rates and verify minimum requirements;
2 – Qventila – a tool to determine the value of the fresh air flow rate (Q AN) using the analytical method.
The calculation tools are available below after filling in the form.
These applications run on Microsoft Excel and to work properly the user must authorize the execution of macros.
