Tests and Calibrations

Current tests and calibrations are carried out using the following documents as a reference:

• national, European or international testing standards;
• technical guides drawn up by EOTA and UEAtc;
• internal procedures, in the absence of appropriate normative documents;
• other legal documents.

Other tests may also be carried out based on specifications defined by the client and agreed with LNEC, as well as the so-called ‘non-destructive tests’ (NDT) which, due to their specific nature, are listed separately.

The competence of LNEC-EM's Operating Units is recognised by IPAC's accreditation, in accordance with the NP EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard, of around two hundred tests, which are explicitly identified.
