        ACTIVITY DEVELOPED

        Has developed her activity since her admission in LNEC in 1992 in different projects in the Planning, Traffic and Safety Unit of the Transportation Department, namely:

        · Implementation of quality management software “Innovway” in UETRAF- Road Traffic Equipments and Analysis Laboratory of “Laboratório de Ensaios e Metrologia of LNEC (LNEC-EM)”.

        · Coordination functions, as well as responsible for the metrology, the informatics and equipment of the UETRAF - Road Traffic Equipments and Analysis Laboratory of the “Laboratório de ensaios e Metrologia of LNEC (LNEC-EM)” (previous LABTRAF – Road Traffic Laboratory).

        · Vectorisation of figures in various formats and support for the editorial review of the booklets within the scope of the study “Normative Document for application to urban streets’”

        · Translation of the contents into Portuguese of the website for the European project “SaferAfrica”

        · Geocoding of road accidents for the Lisbon Road network in the project “Road Safety analysis of the Lisbon Road Network”. This study was developed for the years 2008-2011.

        · Identification and geocoding of vehicles in sequential aerial photographs taken on the road network under of the PhD Thesis named “Probabilistic Safety Analysis Using Traffic Microscopic Simulation”.

        · Collaboration in the accidents rates estimative, traffic behavior and road geometry characterization, speed measurement and time gap between vehicles, for the study “Study on the relations between road characteristics, traffic speed and accidents”.

        · Collaboration in the field tests and exploitation, manipulation, data processing, under the following projects and studies:
