PROFORUM, an association of which LNEC is a member, is organizing its “30th Anniversary Conference” on November 5, 2025. The prestigious event will take place in the Almada Negreiros Room at the Belém Cultural Center (CCB) in Lisbon and will focus on the theme “Engineering and the Future,” highlighting the importance of research in the development of the sector.

The meeting will bring together industry leaders, academics, and researchers, and will feature the participation of Laura Caldeira, chair of the LNEC Board of Directors, in one of the round tables.

The organization invites all engineering companies, entities, and professionals to actively participate in this commemorative event, which is intended to be a meeting point and a fundamental reflection on the trends that will shape the technological and development landscape in the future.
