On October 30, the Final Conference of C2Ø – Construction to Zero, the Roadmap for Decarbonization for the construction sector and associated industrial activities, took place at the Belém Cultural Center in Lisbon, with over 100 participants. The results obtained throughout the project were presented at this event, with a main focus on the Roadmap, which compiles the work developed by the team and the resulting proposals for each of the targeted CAEs.

The opening session featured speeches by representatives from the Government, IAPMEI, PTPC, and ATIC, who highlighted the importance of decarbonization projects in Portugal. Professor José Dinis Silvestre from IST presented concepts and work on the topic in the AEC Sector. The technical team, with representatives from PTPC, ATIC, BUILT CoLAB, and 3drivers, took stock of the initiatives and main conclusions that will be included in the final Roadmap document. 

The second part of the event featured a debate on “Decarbonization Potential - Financing Opportunities,” moderated by ATIC, with representatives from APA, IAPMEI, and DGAE. At the end, the winner of the C2Ø Excellence Award, Construções PRAGOSA S.A., and two honorable mentions, Secil Betão S.A. and Pragosa Betão/Concretope, were announced by the President of the jury, Eng.ª Maria João Falcão Silva, from LNEC.
