LNEC, through its collaborative laboratory NATURELAB, is organising the second edition of the NATURELAB International Workshop, which will take place in Lima, the capital of Peru, on 15 and 16 October 2026.

The event will bring together researchers, professionals, policy-makers and communities to promote knowledge-sharing and the co-creation of nature-based solutions (Nature-based Interventions), with a focus on sustainability and adaptation to environmental challenges such as climate change and resource scarcity.

The programme includes:

- Plenary sessions with international experts

- Multidisciplinary panel discussions

- Oral and poster presentations

- A hands-on botanical drawing experience

The workshop is also committed to inclusion and accessibility, allowing for both in-person and online participation. The official languages are English and Spanish, with simultaneous interpretation (except during the poster sessions).

NATURELAB, part of LNEC, is dedicated to the development and promotion of nature-based solutions, bringing together science, practice and society to address complex environmental challenges, such as water management, urban resilience and climate adaptation.
