The ICARIA project, from 2023 and 2025, aims to contribute to improving the resilience of critical infrastructures to climate change, particularly in the face of complex climate events, with cascading effects.

LNEC is responsible for coordinating one of the working groups, related to the assessment of the urban, regional  and urban services resilience (water services, for example), based on RESCCUE project's (H2020) approaches and tools, for various hazards (droughts, floods, or forest fires for example).

The development of the assessment system for natural areas is in its final phase, and will later be included in a freely available web-based tool.
