Officials from Azores Government visited LNEC

On February 29, 2024, officials from Azores Government visited the Maritime Hydraulics Pavilion of LNEC, to observe the progress of the ongoing physical model study for Coastal protection and planning of São Roque Port, Pico Island.

The delegation was led by the Secretary of Finance of Azores Government, and the President of the Municipality Council of São Roque do Pico.

Engineers from the company responsible for the project design, MSW, were also present.

The study is almost finalizing, focusing now on optimizing the initial project solution.
