Research and Professional Activity
His current research interests are focused on the work being carried out in the context of his Ph.D. Its topic consists on the assessment of track support conditions from railway lines based on their mechanical response in the frequency domain. The work being carried out in this context includes numerical simulations using a Multi-body simulation software and analysing experimental data with the developed methodology. The incorporation of Machine Learning technics into the data processing method is also a topic of interest. In the past, he also showed interest in Shape Memory Alloy based solutions for seismic action damping devices in structures and on the mechanical characterization of materials.
