General Assembly meeting of the MARCLAIMED Project at LNEC2025-03-14 LNEC was delighted to host the two-day General Assembly meeting of the MARCLAIMED Project at the LNEC Congress Centre. On the third day, Águas Públicas do Alentejo, in collaboration with LNEC, organised a visit to the Comporta Demo Site. Participants gained deeper insights into the innovative MARCLAIMED solutions designed to further treat infiltrated wastewater. These solutions utilize a passive treatment system featuring reactive organic layers at the bottom of the basins, which facilitate the adsorption and biodegradation of contaminants. In
