Research and Professional Activity

  • Morphodynamic and geotechnical research in earth dam’s failure by overtopping, with special attention for the development of new and more accuracy data extraction (MATLAB code for LSPIV - Large Scale Particle Image Velocity – and automatic image analysis for geometrical failure evolution)
  • Laboratorial work on small scale physical models of hydraulic structures (spillway and hydroelectric circuit flow conditions and downstream morphodynamic evolution)
