Areas of Research / Interest

Hydrology and Water Resources: Rehabilitation of rivers, floods and evaluation of surface water resources;River Hydraulics: Planning construction of reduced physical models; Overtopping of Embankment dams; Tests on reduced physical models; Measurement, instrumentation and data analysis techniques.

Research and Professional Activity

During 12 months (November 2015 - November 2016) developed the final master thesis in the area of fluvial fluids during the DHA / LNEC stage, particularly in the performance and analysis of experimental tests under controlled hydraulic and geotechnical conditions. They allowed to understand the relation between the hydrodynamics of the flow and the morphology of the breach during the rupture. The professional activity in the area of Civil Engineering, as a technical fellow of LNEC's Department of Hydraulics and Environment began in various national and international projects related to river rehabilitation, flooding and physical modeling of dams and evaluation of surface water resources, having an active participation in the experimental component of these activities.
